Earthquake Trumps Cyclone

 VS

Earthquake or Cyclone... Take your pick! Today, the Earthquakes won out.

The San Jose Earthquakes provided a local family traveling to the Islands of Fiji with relief items to take with them as they support victims from the recent Cyclone Evan

The Kreshels, are taking their two children (10 and 8) to Suva on Viti Levu, the capital city of Fiji. There, the family will work with a Fijian organization to help rebuild homes in the region as well engage with the local children through sport. When Alison High, Community Relations Manager for the San Jose Earthquakes, found out about the efforts, she invoked her clubs mission of supporting programs... "involving soccer in our own community and abroad". She provided a large box full of Earthquakes branded T-shirts and Major League Soccer activity guides for kids!

Thanks Alison!
