Passports Please

A persistent search produced the required documents needed for the Kreshel family to make their travel plans to Fiji. After looking in the standard locations for the passports and other birth records, Karen's stress level rose to a high level when her search came up empty. She had located her passport, Jay's, as well as easton's little blue book, but Creighton's  was still elusive.

In her mind, she ran a complicated and time consuming scenario which included a plan to contact the passport office, take Creighton out of school, drive up to San Francisco, stand in long lines, pay an exorbitant fee, and hopefully get a replacement set of travel documents in time to make our departure date.

After turning the house upside down, leaving piles of sifted through documents in her wake, she finally had an epiphany. "I knew the passport was somewhere" Karen said, "we must have used it for some sort of address or sports verification... "it has to be somewhere."

Up the stairs she ran, into the closet, where she found a pile of papers and other items that she had set a side from one year ago. After flipping over a few sheets, there it sat in all it's glory. The complete set of Kreshel travel documents were secure. The stress was relieved and a continued focus can be placed onto other preparation activities.
